O'Neill | Russell Bierke - Hyperfire X

Directed, filmed and edited by: Andrew Kaineder

Music Composition: Alex Psaltis

Sound Design: Thom Pringle

O’Neill: “Bruises of winter's past, faded and forgotten. Russ Bierke continues to push limits. Be that at his local, or some crazy adventure, in a cold and isolated location. Relentless product testing and a commitment to take on whatever Mother Nature delivers. This journey has led both Russ and O'Neill in developing the new HyperFire X. A series of wetsuits, we believe to be Performance Born, Built for Extremes...

Arc'teryx | SS24 Summer of Climb

Director: Izrayl Brinsdon

DP: Carlos Garcia Knight

Phototographer: Tim Clark

Creative Producer: Will Guy

Gaf: Pat Wiecks

Sound Design: Thom Pringle & Alex Psaltis

Arc’teryx Aus/NZ: “Our SS24 Crag campaign was shot with 9 Degrees bouldering gyms, following their route-setters to a local outdoor bouldering spot on the Sydney coast. With them, we explore the relationship between indoor and outdoor climbing and the way they take inspiration from nature.”

Deus Ex Machina | Josh Koegh

Director: Izrayl Brinsdon

Music Composition: Alex Psaltis

Sound Design: Thom Pringle

Deus Ex Machina: “In a new short film from Izrayl Brinsdon, we meet Josh Keogh on his property in rural New South Wales where he has discovered a new passion in cycling. A self-described surf addict, Keogh was pushed into a new and refreshingly solitary pursuit following a move inland. “On a pure feedback level, riding a bicycle and riding a surfboard I guess can scratch a very similar itch.” The film marks the release of a new collection of Cordura-engineered apparel with versatility at the forefront of its design. Breathable, lightweight and extra-durable gear with military-inspired details that reward a second look.”

Ester X Mukumono

Director, Cinematographer, Editor: Kit Baker

Music Composition, Sound Design and Mix: Alex Psaltis

Premiered as part of Vivid Festival's event Sydney Table, at Carriageworks in 2016.

Ester X Mukumono captures the mirrored material processes of Ester chef Nathan Brindle and Mukumono designer Ion Fukazawa – kneading bread in kitchen, wedging clay in the studio; baking in the wood fire oven, firing ceramics in the kiln. These cycles are united by the ash: the remnants of the cooking process transformed to the glazed surface of the final dish.”
